One Manifesto
What are we doing?
We build AI services to help you navigate the complexities of chronic illness management and extend disease-free, healthy living within the bounds of current scientific and medical advancements

Every health expert has their own perspective on what's most crucial for our well-being. Sleep researchers advocate for the profound importance of rest, suggesting that good sleep is the cornerstone of health. In contrast, those studying alcohol warn of its epidemic-like effects, labelling it a significant threat to public health. Meanwhile, experts on stress highlight its aging acceleration properties, cautioning that excess stress can prematurely wear down our body's systems. However, it's a balancing act; without productivity, even well-rested individuals can find themselves stressed, negating the benefits of good sleep or stress management.

What ties all these factors together is their impact on aging—accelerated aging serves as a common thread for several health issues down the line.
The Core Issue: Contradictions in Clinical Research
At some point in your life, you may have tried to research a hair fall solution, or understand the impacts of alcohol on your health, or try to figure out which diet is best for your lifestyle, etc. If so, you must be super familiar with the plethora of contradictory research findings, especially around lifestyle habits, supplements, and aging drugs. Even peer-reviewed research papers contradict each other. The more you read, t̶h̶e̶ c̶l̶e̶a̶r̶e̶r̶ y̶o̶u̶ k̶n̶o̶w̶ a̶b̶o̶u̶t̶ y̶o̶u̶r̶ h̶e̶a̶l̶t̶h̶ the more contradictions you shall uncover!
Why does it happen? Because the research is done in isolated settings across various institutes with a limited number of people in the study. For example, a study done at Harvard may not be applicable if you live in the Himalayan mountain ranges. Because, the lifestyle, habits, genome, social conditions, and your entire exposome have an impact on everything, and none of this is part of the studies.
So, what is the solution?
Super simple. Necessity for Individual Data Analysis: Recognizing the importance of personalizing health insights based on individual data. The Healome app helps you collect all these as passively as possible, and it will keep doing its work (focusing on your health) even while you are asleep!
Why doesn’t the current healthcare industry or the government solve this problem?
Limitations of Current Clinical Trials: Generally, let's say a cancer drug has a 60% efficacy rate. Researchers come up with a new drug that increases the efficacy rate to 80%. Everyone loves the new drug because it's better, and starts to prefer the new drug/treatment. However, you may fall in the other 20% group ( if the efficacy rate is 80%, roughly 20% of the people won't see a good impact with the drug!) for the new drug. And, you may be in the 60% group for the older drug. But your insurance won't allow you to get the old drug because remember! Everyone loves the new drug now, that's the hottest in the market.
How do we know which group we fall in?
We never know in the current system! Because, even though the current clinical trial systems all across the world have stringent exclusion criteria - meaning, to assess the effects of the drug properly, they exclude people with several other health conditions in the trial. While that is a good way of doing research, to assess the causality of the drug on the health outcome, the issue is: in real life, you may have other health conditions, and might already be taking other drugs, and we don't have the data of how these other disease would interact with your new drug, or how your other medicines would interact with your new medicine.

The classic example of cancer research underscores the need for a new approach that accommodates personalized medicine.
Our Approach:
Open Decentralized FDA
Clinical Trials via FDA-AI Platform:
We have been building an open-source framework, with the help of several others, to integrate health data from any health app to create your virtual digital twin. Your virtual digital twin is all-knowing of your health information coming from the Healome app. It includes your blood tests, diseases information, lifestyle information, habits, sleep, stress, energy, aging details. Checkout https://github.com/FDA-AI/
AI agents:
We then build AI agents like your LongevityGPT, which is powered by another network of several other AI agents our community has built in the open domain. These AI agents interact with the plethora of information on the internet, and in research papers, and guide you through personalized answers. Check out https://longevity-genie.github.io/. These AI agents are constantly up-to-date with state-of-the-art research.
Research Partnerships:
We also collaborate with universities and research institutions to advance our understanding and application of health data. They use our FDA-AI platform and the AI agents to discover and publish new findings!
Biological age as clinical endpoint:
We use biological age as the north-star-metric for assessing the holistic impact of all the habits, supplements, and drugs on your health outcomes like sleep, stress, energy and aging. Checkout https://www.healome.one/post/healome-aging-clock-the-most-powerful-ever
How does Healome calculate your Biological age
Traditional age testing companies use epigenetics (epigenome sequencing) to measure age. Healome clock uses blood clinical markers as opposed to the traditional Horvath's clock which uses epigenetic markers. Epigenetic markers are good to get an estimate of biological age and that's it. it doesn't provide any other interpretable information.
Blood clinical work on the other hand gives information of the increased/decreased organ specific disease conditions. This helps us to provide interpretable action items to reduce age: Epigenetic age talks about what gene should not be methylated (switched off/switched on) to reduce age - but no one knows how to target a specific gene to be switched on or off. However, Healome clock gives the information of what blood clinical markers to be changed to result in decrease of age acceleration. These insights help us to curate personalized longevity protocols
We built the SOTA blood aging clocks (for full body and organ specific aging ) on top of 1.5M blood test records via partnerships from diagnostic test centres, research labs across the USA, UK, and India. We have the largest amount of longitudinal data than any public or private organisation has when it comes to aging. Furthermore, our aging clock requires only the regularly screened metabolic, complete blood count markers that insurances fully pay for once each year.
We also make the aging clock interpretable at the organ and disease levels - because depending on the disease diagnosis, certain organs are prone to age faster than other organs in the body - and. Moreover, we consider the diversity of populations and their inherited risks and vulnerabilities. How Our Research
Trials Differ
Efficacy Function over Accuracy Function: Our methodology focuses on evaluating the efficacy of interventions based on blood biomarkers, rather than traditional accuracy metrics.

Our research approach is unique because it looks at how treatments work for each individual. Instead of just checking if a drug works or not, we look at a variety of factors from your blood tests and other personal health details to understand the full picture. This helps us to see how treatments can be more effective for you, taking into account your body's own characteristics and your environment. It's a more customized way to see how health interventions can really make a difference in your life
